A Voice for Children, Inc. began in 2005 within the hearts of two individuals who desired to offer hope and healing to the most vulnerable among us.  Professional therapy was provided to hundreds of child abuse victims through Child Advocacy Centers throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.  

In 2020, A Voice for Children has partnered with one of the largest agencies in the United States providing necessary and critical intervention strategies for the restoration of those victimized by sex trafficking.  We also provide
​professional therapy to children within our regional school systems.

School based counseling

Professional counseling is offered within the school setting by therapists licensed in the state of Oklahoma.  A Voice for Children is able to extend this help because of generous people who give and desire to be a part of the effort in making a positive difference in the lives of traumatized children.  Since the founding of the organization, many hearts have been given the hope of a new beginning.  A Voice for Children continues to offer an outstretched hand to children within our region who struggle with past trauma or other personal or family issues that are specific to each child.  Many times the circumstances of life can seem overwhelming.  A Voice for Children provides counseling through dedicated professionals who are trained to offer facilitation, support and guidance to those who express a sincere desire for help.  An effort is made to accommodate each person based on his or her specific needs.

Rescuing a victim from sexual exploitation or sex trafficking is only the beginning of an extensive process toward restoration.  We will direct our efforts, resources and energy toward the healing of minds and hearts from the trauma of victimization.  Each individual will be involved in an intensive 18-month program that will move them from victim to survivor.  A Voice for Children works hand-in-hand with The Demand Project to rescue and restore lives that have been tragically broken through criminal activity.  It is our goal to free those who have been oppressed and to bring them back to newness of life.
